Do you know why the sustainability of Antico Molino Rosso differs from other companies?
RENEWABLE ENERGIES

We have installed state-of-the-art photovoltaic panels with a total of 135 kW/h producing around 70 per cent of our needs.
We only purchase certified energy with a guarantee of origin from renewable sources.

SOSTENIBILITÀ AMBIENTALE

7,000 hectares of organic crops are cultivated in Italy for the company’s needs, helping to de-pollute the environment.
We have always paid special attention to the responsible use of water, as we do not use any sources of water for cultivation.

We have converted two company-owned plots of land, 7,000 m² and 5,000 m² respectively, into forest, planting more than 1,200 trees.
Each printed document is offset against the respective reforestation certified by SGS International.

BIODIVERSITY

5 hectares dedicated to cereal experimentation since 2007 continue to be a reference point for the study, research and development of breadmaking results.
We collaborate with the STEFANI BENTEGODI Technical Agricultural Institute (Verona, Italy), and the CRESCENT Short Cereal Chain, as a commitment to the preservation of biodiversity and ancient varieties, the activity for the genetic conservation of ancient cereals continues.

We have, as farm boundaries, hedges to conserve wild life and foster pre-existing natural environments with wild essences.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND SUSTAINABILITY
We carry out educational activities to raise awareness of organic farming, at various institutes, holding conferences and hosting primary and secondary schools each year, as a social responsibility and sustainability.

ORGANIC FOOD SAFETY

We have been a Biodedicated company for 32 years, over 300 multi-residual analyses are carried out each year at ACCREDIA-accredited laboratories.
